We are happily to announce the first ever contest here at Themetation. We are going to give away 2 copies of WordPress eBooks.

This is a contest happily sponsored by Packt Publishing. They contacted me and discuss about this book. They also send me a free copy of book so I able to review it and introduce to my readers.

I found that the book is pretty informative and can be a handy guide for the beginner theme designer. It also include some discussion about the CSS and IE hacks. You can learn from A - Z on how to create a wordpress theme. Besides, at the end of the book there are some useful guide about Ajax / Dynamic Content and Interactive Forms.

Overall, it is a helpful resources for those who want to learn how to create WordPress themes. if you are interested in my “How To Create WordPress Theme From Scratch” tutorial series. Then you should be interested on this book.

It would really appreciate getting my hands on that eBook! It will really help me a lot as I want to learn more about WordPress theme design. Currently I use the WordPress Codex and this site specifically as a WordPress design/development reference.

There seems to be vast amounts of info just by googling for things so im not faithful to any sites. But the Codex probably have the answer for me 40% of the time.

I’m getting all information from codex.wordpress.org, but nettuts and themetation was helpful too

I use the WordPress Codex most of the time. Other than that I’m a trial and error kind of guy. Failing that, Google.

WP Codex for creating my own. UX magazine for nice roundups of top X themes of style X when looking for inspiration or a prebuilt theme.
